The three volcanic lakes—Tiwu Ata Bupu (Lake of Old People), Tiwu Ko’o Fai Nuwa Muri (Lake of Young Men and Maidens), and Tiwu Ata Polo (Enchanted Lake)—regularly change color due to mineral reactions, shifting from deep blue to green, red, even black or brown.

Our tour departs daily at 4:30 AM to reach the summit before dawn. As the sun rises, many travelers feel a powerful spiritual connection to the sacred landscape.

WHAT THEY SAY

Must Visit- Best Place and People
"I took my parents here and we spent 2.5 days and 2 nights- not enough! I could've stayed forever. We came in the off season, so it was pretty quiet around the lodge and at the craters which was amazing! Pak Patris and Pak Pang took us around Ende and Moni, and we are endlessly grateful for their warmth and patience. This was a perfect way to be able to visit Moni and actually get to see it. Aside from danau tiga warna, we went to a small hot springs in the area, on a short hike to a waterfall and through the Friday morning market, we visited traditional housing, a local coffee plantation, and blue stone beach. Despite our many activities, nothing ever felt rushed or stressful and we had plenty of time to relax at the lodge too- which is a must, the views are incredible. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone. Much thanks to Pak Patris and Pak Pang for taking us around and sharing their beautiful history and culture with us. And to the rest of the staff for being so friendly and helpful. I can't wait to come back and visit again! Sampai jumpa lagi. simo gemi"

Flores deserves a look and a stay.
"This was the highlight of our trip to Indonesia. Patrise runs a fabulous operation and made us feel right at home, given we were the only guests. Working in hospitality I appreciated the thoughtfulness of the details. The excursions were insightful and informational. I would probably even have liked more hiking or yoga, but alas it was not in the cards this trip. It was beautiful."

Peaceful, comfortable, simple with great staff
"We loved this accommodation, it was one of the quietest nights sleep we had on our trip, with the peaceful sound of the river to help. Beautiful setting with lovely gardens and views up a valley of rice fields. The staff were delightful, engaged and looking for things to help with. Comfortable bed and room with a bit of charm. We didnt mind needing to give advance notice of our dinner order, that meant it was being made then and was ready when we arrived at the restaurant. Probably the only draw back in the room was the short time for hot water in the shower but cool was quite refreshing after a hot day. "
