“No man is an island” is a quote from John Donne’s devotions of 1624 and is relevant to all of us today as we struggle forward under the burden of the COVID global pandemic.
We are excited by not only the support of individuals but also by the support of companies and a school. We wish to highlight some of these in this article on the topic OUR SURVIVAL UNDER COVID.

The grade 12 pupils of Robina High School, Gold Coast, Australia were the first to donate funds for tree planting to ICFOW for trees in Tanjung Puting National Parkand their $400 are greatly valued.
All For Nature www.allfornature.nl is a Netherlands ecotourism company and through donations from their clients they have funded the training and formation of a Fire Protection unit at the Satwa Sumatra Ecolodge. This unit works closely with the park unit to fight fires and have already been involved in a fire fight. We need more of these specific programs where the donor plays a key role in deciding where to place funds.

We are currently negotiating a similar approach with Vet Love www.vetlove.com.au a family veterinary company based on the Gold Coast of Australia with practices from the Northern Rivers of NSW to Brisbane. They wish to develop a specific forest area in the south of the Tanjung Puting where 130 – 150,000 hectares were destroyed by illegal fires in 2015. This ambitious program is also negotiating with World Relief Australia www.wra.org.au so that donations through any of the practices can have tax relief.

Para murid kelas 12 dari SMA Robina, Gold Coast – Australia, menjadi yang pertama mendonasikan dana senilai AUD 400 kepada yayasan kami, yang digunakan untuk penanaman pohon di Taman Nasional Tanjung Putting.
All For Nature www.allfornature.nl adalah sebuah perusahaan ekowisata dari Belanda, telah mendonasikan dana dari dari klien mereka, untuk mendanai pelatihan dan pembentukan unit Perlindungan Kebakaran di Satwa Sumatra Ecolodge. Unit ini bekerja sama dengan unit taman nasional Way Kambas dalam penanganan pemadaman hutan. Kami membutuhkan lebih banyak program khusus seoerti ini,dimana para donor bisa menentukan program yang mau mereka danai.

Saat ini kami sedang melakukan penjajagan dengan Vet Love www.vetlove.com.au , sebuah perusahaan klinik hewan yang berbasis di Gold Coast – Australia, yang memiliki tempat praktik dari Northern Rivers-NSW hingga Brisbane. Mereka ingin mengembangkan kawasan hutan terpadu di sebelah selatan Taman Nasional Tanjung Putting, dimana terdapat 130 – 150.000 hektar lahan bekas terbakar, yang rusak saat kebakaran besar tahun 2015. Program ambisius ini juga diharapkan melibatkan World Relief Australia www.wra.org.au agar dana yang terkumpul dari kegiatan ini bisa mendapat keringanan pajak.
